When we faced eviction in Maroochydore, Aus Living Support stepped in and kept our family housed We are still local because of them

 After sleeping at Cotton Tree for weeks, the Material Aid Program gave me blankets, a tent and support until housing came through

 The cost of living here is so high Their help with basics kept us afloat

 We finally settled in Bli Bli after they helped furnish our home My kids now have real beds

​

 The speed of support was incredible — within  hours, everything changed for us

​

 I’m a local mum from Sippy Downs and this charity restored my faith in people

Their kindness was life-changing

 I was embarrassed to ask for help, but they treated me like a neighbour, not a case number

 Thanks to them, my children stayed enrolled at their Sunshine Coast school and didn’t have to move again

 After leaving a violent home in Palmwoods, they supported us through the hardest weeks

 I didn’t know where to turn A local friend recommended them, and I’m so grateful she did

 The charity helped me stay housed in the hinterland while I rebuilt my life

 With rental prices skyrocketing across the Coast, their help came just in time

 We received clothing, school shoes, and hygiene packs — all from people who truly care

 I finally felt safe walking into their office, knowing I wasn’t alone

 They helped me move from homelessness in Maroochydore into stable housing

 The support allowed me to stay employed here on the Coast without losing everything

 My teenage son was able to continue his sport because of the School Aid Program

 They cared for our dignity as much as our basic needs
