What We Do: Three Programs, One Goal.

What We Do: Three Programs, One Goal

Aus Living Support runs three programs, each built around the same principle: practical, immediate support that lets people breathe, regroup, and get back on their feet.

Stay Safe Program: Keeping Sunshine Coast Families Housed

The Stay Safe Program https://www.auslivingsupport.org.au/programs provides rental and mortgage support to families at risk of losing their home.

Single mothers reestablishing after domestic violence. Women over 55 suddenly on one income. Families whose casual jobs simply cannot keep pace with the cost of a Sunshine Coast rental. The program provides short-term support enough to give people the space to find their footing again.

“If you can keep them where they are, they can often get their lives back on track. But if they don’t have a home, it gets more difficult for them to do that.” -CEO Ian Harrison

School Aid Program: Every Sunshine Coast Child Deserves to Belong

The School Aid Program https://www.auslivingsupport.org.au/programs  puts school uniforms, shoes, and backpacks into the hands of vulnerable children before peer pressure becomes a problem.

The goal is simple: every child should walk into the classroom looking and feeling like every other kid. It is practical support with a profound impact on confidence, dignity, and belonging.

Material Aid Program: Essentials for Those Experiencing Homelessness

The Material Aid Program https://www.auslivingsupport.org.au/programs delivers blankets, clothing, and everyday essentials to people experiencing homelessness, free of charge, through our op shops in Nambour and Maroochydore.

Those op shops are also the heartbeat of Aus Living Support’s fundraising, turning community donations of clothing and goods directly into aid for the people who need it most.
