The Role

We are looking for an exceptional retail manager that can perform to a very high standard with minimal interaction from senior management. A person that is passionate about making a difference to those in need throughout the Sunshine Coast.

Aus Living Support Ltd is a very unique business where each day can offer varied challenges to a retailer. No two days will have the same stock and often no two products are the same. We need a manager that will thrive in this environment and grow our store to the highest level.

 

As a retail leader it goes without saying that you’ll be experienced in

  1. Ensuring extraordinary customer service is provided every day, in every interaction

  2. Providing leadership and inspiration to the team through effective coaching, feedback, training and performance management.

  3. Embedding exceptional operational and visual merchandising standards

  4. Developing strong product knowledge and assisting in the training of your team

  5. Maintaining stock levels and ensuring the stock is merchandised to sell

  6. Ownership of health and safety in the store

  7. Building our Volunteer numbers and engaging with the local community

  8. Ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures

  9. Retail management

 

 

Previous experience in the charity shop sector will be an advantage but is not essential.

What is imperative is your people, team leadership, passion and proven ability to deliver exceptional results in a complex retail environment. Brand – product knowledge is and advantage.

 

Importantly you will have a full understanding of the work of Aus Living Support Ltd and passionately believe you can make a difference with your particular skill set.

This is a salary full time position. Your salary will be based on previous experience and perceived value to Aus Living Support Ltd.
